It was in 1975 that MECAGE was born, founded within the walls of the house of Mr DHAUSSY Gérard (Father) in Avesnes-Le-Sec, MECAGE was the victim of a success which forced its founder to move to Haspres.
The company was taken over by his son Mr. DHAUSSY Gérard (Son) who continued to anchor MECAGE in the industry until 2014.
It was Stéphane PETIT and Laurent WIART who bought this family-run company while maintaining the entity and values already established.
Numerous investments as well as the historical trust of its customers will allow MECAGE to expand and also to move to the current site in Hordain (59) where the acquisition of the HORMECA company specializing in boilermaking will expand MECAGE's skills.
It is thanks to loyal employees, customer trust and historical know-how that MECAGE has succeeded in propelling itself to the rank of local reference in terms of machining and boilermaking.
